Lynn Zielinski
Lynn Zielinski is a dynamic multidisciplinary artist based in Hannibal, Missouri. Originally from Hamilton Square, New Jersey, Lynn's creative journey began early—she recalls transforming her parents’ garage into a personal mural space as a child. While she holds a BA in Journalism from The Ohio State University, her lifelong passion for the visual arts naturally evolved into a second career alongside her work as a local business owner of A&S Printing Plus, Inc. in Hannibal, Missouri.
With a background in graphic design, Lynn brings both technical skill and boundless curiosity to her art practice. Her professional design experience gave her with a strong foundation in composition, color theory, and visual balance, as evident in her artwork.
Lynn works across a wide variety of mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, resin, cold wax, polymer clay, modeling paste, wire, wood, gelli printing, and even 3D printing and design. Lynn doesn’t limit herself to one material or technique—instead, she explores each in creative cycles, driven by her desire to experiment and play. “I usually let the medium fly and see what is created,” she says.
Her work spans both abstract and realistic art styles, reflecting a flexible and intuitive style. Lynn is especially inspired by ocean scenes and marine life, and also enjoys incorporating floral and botanical elements into her compositions.
In 2022, Lynn was honored with the Pinnacle Award at ORiGINALE, an annual exhibition presented by the Hannibal Art Club that showcases the region's top original artworks. This recognition underscores her continued impact in the local and regional art scene.
Lynn Zielinski is not only a talented, prolific artist but also a devoted wife to her husband, Ken, and a loving mother of her three children, Sarah, Samantha, and Johnathan. Her art is an ongoing exploration of form, medium, and imagination—always evolving, always inspired.
